Pipedrive Add-On Pricing: What Each Extra Costs and Whether It Is Worth It

Pipedrive's base plans cover core CRM. Add-ons extend into lead generation, marketing, document management, and visitor tracking. They are priced per company (not per user), which is good for larger teams. Here is every add-on, what it includes, and whether the cost is justified.

LeadBooster

$32.50/mo (annual)

LeadBooster bundles four lead generation tools into one add-on: a customizable chatbot, live chat, a prospector database, and web forms. Monthly billing costs $39/month.

What is included

  • Customizable chatbot for website
  • Live chat with rep assignment
  • Prospector database (400M+ contacts)
  • Web forms with pipeline integration
  • 10 credits/month for prospecting

Worth it if

  • Your website generates meaningful traffic
  • You want to capture leads outside business hours
  • You need a prospecting database
  • You want forms that feed directly into pipelines

ROI calculation

At $32.50/month, LeadBooster needs to generate roughly one additional qualified lead per month to pay for itself (assuming an average deal value of $500+). If your website gets 1,000+ visitors per month, the chatbot alone typically converts 2-5% of visitors into conversations. For teams already generating inbound traffic, this is one of the easiest add-ons to justify.

Web Visitors

$41/mo (annual)

Web Visitors uses reverse IP lookup to identify companies visiting your website. It shows which pages they viewed, how long they stayed, and where they came from. Monthly billing costs $49/month.

What is included

  • Company identification from website visits
  • Page-by-page visit tracking
  • Source and referral data
  • Direct integration with Pipedrive contacts
  • Real-time notifications

Limitations

  • Only identifies companies, not individuals
  • Does not work well with B2C traffic
  • Small businesses may not be in the database
  • VPN and remote workers reduce accuracy

Verdict

Worth it for B2B teams selling to mid-market and enterprise companies where identifying a visiting company by name has real sales value. Not worth it for B2C businesses, micro-business sales, or teams with low website traffic. Consider free alternatives like Google Analytics with company segmentation before committing.

Campaigns

$13/mo (annual)

Campaigns adds email marketing directly inside Pipedrive. Build and send email campaigns, track opens and clicks, and segment contacts without leaving your CRM. Monthly billing costs $16/month.

What is included

  • Drag-and-drop email builder
  • Pre-built email templates
  • Open and click tracking
  • Contact segmentation
  • Campaign performance analytics

Alternatives to consider

  • Mailchimp free tier (up to 500 contacts)
  • Brevo free tier (300 emails/day)
  • ActiveCampaign (more advanced automation)
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub (if you switch CRMs)

Verdict

At $13/month, Campaigns is Pipedrive's cheapest add-on and offers decent value for teams that want basic email marketing without a separate tool. The main advantage is tight CRM integration: your campaign data lives alongside your deals. Skip it if you already use Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or any standalone email platform. The convenience of having everything in one tool is worth it only if you are starting from scratch.

Smart Docs

$32.50/mo (annual, per company)

Smart Docs lets you create document templates that auto-fill with deal, contact, and company data from Pipedrive. Includes built-in e-signatures. Also available at $6.50/user/month. Monthly billing costs $39/month (per company) or $7.90/user/month.

What is included

  • Document templates with merge fields
  • Auto-fill from deal/contact data
  • Built-in e-signatures
  • Document tracking (opened, viewed, signed)
  • Google Docs and OneDrive integration

Pricing comparison

  • Smart Docs per company: $32.50/mo (all users)
  • Smart Docs per user: $6.50/user/mo
  • Break-even: 5 users ($32.50 vs $32.50)
  • PandaDoc: $19/user/mo (more features)
  • DocuSign: $10/user/mo (e-sign only)

Verdict

Worth it if you send 20+ proposals or contracts per month and want them auto-populated from your CRM data. The per-company pricing is better for teams of 6+ users. For smaller teams, the per-user option is cheaper. If you need advanced document features (content library, approval workflows, CRM-agnostic integrations), PandaDoc offers more at a higher price point.

Projects

$6.70/mo (annual)

Projects adds basic project management boards inside Pipedrive, letting you track post-sale delivery alongside your deals. Monthly billing costs $8/month.

What is included

  • Kanban project boards
  • Task management with due dates
  • Project templates
  • Link projects to deals and contacts
  • File attachments per task

Alternatives to consider

  • Asana free tier (up to 10 users)
  • Trello free tier (unlimited boards)
  • Monday.com ($9/user/mo)
  • Notion free tier (basic project tracking)

Verdict

At $6.70/month it is cheap, but the project management capabilities are basic compared to dedicated tools. The main value is keeping everything in one platform: a deal closes and a project board automatically spins up for delivery. If you already use Asana, Trello, or Monday.com, there is no reason to switch. If you do not have any project tool yet and want the simplest option, this works.

What Happens When You Stack Add-Ons

Add-ons can significantly increase your total bill. Here is the monthly cost per plan when you add all five add-ons (annual billing).

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Pipedrive add-ons billed per user or per company?
Most Pipedrive add-ons are billed per company, not per user. This means a 5-person team and a 50-person team pay the same add-on price. The exception is Smart Docs, which offers both a per-company option ($32.50/month) and a per-user option ($6.50/user/month). Per-company billing makes add-ons relatively cheaper as your team grows.
Can I try add-ons before buying?
Yes. Pipedrive includes add-on trials during your initial 14-day free trial period. You can activate any add-on during the trial to test it with your actual data and workflows. After the trial ends, add-ons revert unless you subscribe to them separately.
Can I add or remove add-ons mid-cycle?
You can add new add-ons at any time, and billing is prorated for the remainder of your current cycle. Removing add-ons takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of the current cycle when removing an add-on.
Do I need add-ons on the Lite plan?
Add-ons work with all Pipedrive plans including Lite, but they make more sense on Growth and above. Lite already has limited automation and email tracking, so adding LeadBooster or Campaigns to Lite creates an imbalance where your add-ons are more capable than your base plan. Consider upgrading to Growth first, then adding add-ons as needed.
What happens to my add-on data if I cancel?
When you cancel an add-on, your data is retained in your Pipedrive account for 30 days. After that, it may be permanently deleted. Export any important data (email campaign reports, document templates, project boards) before cancelling. Re-subscribing within 30 days should restore your add-on data.
